What is a Remote Audit?
A remote audit is a free and simple assessment that can quickly identify the improvements that will have the biggest impact on your energy costs and sustainability goals.

How does a Remote Audit work?
Our remote audit starts with information you provide re: your company’s buildings and infrastructure, including square footage, current equipment, and the past 12 months of utility data. All you need to do is complete the Remote Audit Input Form to get started. After an initial conversation, our team of engineers will analyze your energy utilization, identify potential savings measures and present you with the comprehensive findings.
As part of this, we’ll work up a preliminary project scope and financial analysis that will illustrate how Metrus enables you to update your equipment, improve your bottom line, and reach your goals — with no upfront cost.
What happens after the Remote Audit?
The remote audit is conducted virtually and provides an initial assessment of project potential, providing a quick snapshot of equipment upgrades and savings opportunities
01
Site Audit
- Following the remote audit, we partner with a leading ESCO to conduct an on-site audit and provide a comprehensive approach to final scoping.
- The goal of the on-site audit is to ensure all of your facility, sustainability and financial challenges and opportunities are addressed via the project plan.
- Our approach allows for bundling different types of improvements into one project to allow you to scale and accelerate your operational and sustainability goals. We can offset the payback period of big-ticket items like boilers with faster-payback equipment like LED lighting.
02
Project Construction
- Once the project design is finalized and a contract is signed, project construction begins
- You enjoy ongoing savings as soon as each piece of equipment is installed during the construction process, and provide approval of final completion
